Hello everyone! good to see a good running saturn forum out there. I have a 2001 SL2 with no factory cruise control and am looking to add cruise control.

what do I need? I feel faily confident in installing myself, have done all maintenance on the car myself or with my dad and should be able to install it.

is there a factory kit containing all the necessary parts? or would it make more sense to get a universal kit. anyone out there have a kit they recommend or certain brands?

i believe your PCM must be programmed to include cruise if you are to do this with dealer parts.

Would check with Saturn techs at dealership to find out plausibility before embarking on this task.....

asked a saturn dealers (thats still in business ) and they said its actually easier to get a universal kit, those work fine. so I've been checking places like jc whitteny.

this is one of the kits.

no perosnal experience with aftermarket cruise systems -- my sattys have stock cruise
