Ideas on replacing 2007 ion 3 shifter knob (auto)

So, I did a little digging...

These two are compatible with automatic transmissions... Yours comes off by loosening an Allen headed bolt under the chrome trim ring on the bottom...
You could theoretically use any shift **** you wanted, if you held down the plastic rod in the middle of the shifter using the shift **** and tightened the screws in the **** in that position... Know that doing this will effectively disable the "hold brake to shift from park" feature and if you do that, you are solely responsible for any potential negative outcome...
Actually, Summit Racing has a better search, where you can narrow your search results by ***** that have a park release button... Yay!

Thanks bonestock. I did some diggin but was only finding manual shifters. I will check out your links and keep diggin. It looks like mine must have been glued on somehow (see pic). I can see the hex hole, but its not screwed in at the bottom. Not sure how Im gonna fix it. May have to leave it alone for now.
Octavious, I = Intermediate. The manual says, "You might choose INTERMEDIATE (I)
instead of DRIVE (D) when driving on hilly, winding roads and when towing a trailer, so that there is less shifting between gears."
Edit: The pic may be upside down. Sorry about that.
