'01 SL1 - intermittent starting

Djbach, when you say it "crapped out" do you mean it quit running by itself, or that you turned it off and it wouldn't restart?

by saying so i mean that i shut it off and it wouldnt restart.

changing the starter tomorrow - hopefully that does the trick.

well... what it comes down to is i dont have to change the starter at all... someone hit our saturn while i had it parked at work and the insurance totaled it out...

...more for age than anything else i guess.

however - the engine and transmission only have 80k mile on them and we are going to keep it and sell it for the motor, transmission and parts. anyone have a vague idea what i might get or the motor and transmission?

much appreciated!
