Question -- are you saying that after you run your car it :

1) The starter will not turn the engine without waiting 1-2 hours ... or

2) The starter turns the engine, but the engine will not run

Smile Hot start problem

If the starter turns the engine over easily but the engine won't start (especially after the engine is already warm), it is probably the coolant temp. sensor. That model came with some type of composite sensor which usually develops cracks. The newer sensors are all brass.

Hoseppi is correct in his statement.

Replacement Coolant Tempersture Sensor (CTS) is about $14usd at AutoZone or similar stores.

It's that when the engine is warmed up the starter can't turn it over

Check for corrosion inside of the positive battery cable, and replace if needed.
