Default 2009 Aura Tail light Problem

Anyone have any info on LED tail lights. Mine are not working(Brake lights are working) along with the side marker lights. Looked through manual and couldn't locate a fuse or relay associated. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

Default Loose third light connector

I found a thread on another forum, since my 3rd brake light was out and I need an inspection. That guy showed a diagram which displays how you must open the back seats, undo the rear shelf, just to see the unit.

I have scratches up and down my arms to prove I did this - the wiring connector didn't want to release, but it was loose. The wiring plug into the LED circuit board is cheap and flimsy. I jammed a plastic snow shovel into driver seat and got the pedal depressed. I saw that the connector, not the LED unit was at fault.

My solution was to jam two toothpicks into the side where the plug was loose. Works fine now, nice tight connection. LED lights should last forever. Too bad GM cheaped out on the connection.

At least, it references a fix -- of a sort
