brake light issues
1 Fuses all good
2 bulbs good
3 no connection corrosion problems all looks brand new
4 both pedal switches light the cyclops neither light the lower brake lights.
probed the wires not finding power in either wire on one of the harnesses plugging in to a brake switch.
I'm assuming i have a problem somewhere between the under hood fuse block and my pedel switch.
Questiion one can I jump power from say my cigarette lighter plug to test the lights with out hurting anything? if this works could I not send power to my brake light switch from another source to fix this .I'm 6'5" with a wingspan over 7' the thought of working under that dash gives me the *******
Thanks in advance for your time.

I'd check the grounds on the tail light sockets first. And then check then make sure there's no rust in the sockets causing the spring to be frozen and not allowing the contact plate to connect to the bulb contacts. I've seen it happen.

I'll check them again but just dont dont see how this would prevent power from going to the brake light switch?
Again anyone know if it's safe to bypass power from another source to test everything from the switch back.
