engine stutter
hi, i'm new to the forum so if i'm posting this in the wrong place, someone please let me know...
i bought a 95 SL1 a couple of months ago in GREAT condition (i used to have a 96 & i loved it!) just today it started stuttering on acceleration. the dealership i got it from gave me a 50/50 warranty on parts & labor, but it'll probably be cheaper if my husband can fix it instead. i don't know much about cars, so if i can get some good suggestions, it might give him a place to start checking. ideas, anyone?

Yes - first thing he needs to do, is to drop by his local Auto Zone (PEP Boys, NAPA - whatever) and purchase the Hayes Manual for the car.
Next thing to do, (since he's at the auto parts store already) would be to have the store run a On-Board Diagnostic on the car (normally a no charge item); they figgure you'll by their parts.
Post the code numbers here (yes, the numbers) and we can all track this problem down together .................
