I have a 1992 saturn SL . I need to replace a AC line along with the Dryer accumulator. I am trying to find the name of the line that runs from the dryer to a block on the firewall, it also has an electric sensor on it.

please advise.

Try http://rockauto.com, http://ackits.comor other a/c parts suppliers using Google. The electric sensor is the low pressure switch that detects either loss of refrigerant or a clogged compressor that generates excessive vacuum, opening the a/c clutch circuit preventing further damage to the compressor. The low pressure switch is on the 'low pressure line' if that helps to describe it. Maybe Autozone will have a parts diagram/list for you to look at, the same for NAPA, etc.. Its better to use the parts diagram to get the exact line you need.

i tried advance auto, napa, murrays auto and I am very surprised how little the counter guys in my area know , if it is not listed clearly in the "computer" they can not answer the question.

That's why I suggested the online places as some have better parts diagrams for you to actually compare your parts against. Look around, you'll find it.
