Low beams not working on 99 sc1
I had a 1999 Saturn S-Series sc1 for about 4 years now, but like a year ago I noticed the service came on and I didnt think much of it because my car is in great condition but after I turn the high beams on the service light turns off and I realized that my lights are not bright at all so when I looked at my headlights, the low beams does not work. I checked and changed the fuse and changed the bulbs, they still dont work. I checked the connectors and it is not recivcing power so I want to know any idea on what it could be as the internet has been no help. Also my a/c compessor does not receivce power neither so I think there is a connection and recently my wiper has been malfunction and going by themselves and I just changed the motor a few days ago. but other than that the car runs great.

Wipers spazzing out is indeed the motor under the cowl. I'm sure you had as much fun changing it as I did.
However, issues with both the headlights and the wipers May have to do with the multifunction switch, which is what they call that big thing into which that turn signal headlight stock and the windshield wiper stack go. And cruise control if you have that.
Without looking at a schematic, we cannot be sure, so don't run out and buy one. Diagnose it first.
Power to the AC compressor depends on the AC relay operating correctly as well as at least a certain minimum amount of refrigerant present in the system. If the pressure drops below that value, the low pressure in the circuit pops open and the circuit is no longer continuous so there is no current flow. This keeps the compressor from running when it is essentially dry so to speak. If your system is known to have a leak, it is very likely what is described above.
I'll see if I can come up with a schematic for the 99 SC1 function switch wiring.
