I have a 93 sc2 i bought a front strut bar for from Twistec. I put it on my car but it was pushing on my pcv valve. From the engine movement it ended up breaking the hose off the pcv valve. I just made a new hose for it and it was fine but I cant use my strut bar. Has anyone else here put a twistec strut bar on there car. Please let me know how you made it work. Also if anyone has an alternative pcv valve option for me that wouldnt stick up so far please let me know. Thanks

check with the parts store if they can cross over the factory piece to one that may be of a lower profile...is the stock PCV an elbow or straight?

I think the problem is the ends. I called them and they said if I sent them back they would send me the new redesigned ones. Instead they sent me the cheaper black ones and they were exactly the same. I dont want to deal with them again though. they dont answer emails or phone calls very often, and every time they send me something it takes months. I bought this stuff on december 24 2003 and i still dont have the front strut bar in. Anyway, it might be possible to do something with the ends to make it work I dont know. I was hoping someone here had the same problem and found a way to get around it.

did you pay by credit card? if so, call the CC company and tell them that your purchase was never completed...that you got ripped off...

this was a year and a half ago. I think it too late for that. I asked twistec to give me my money back and since then they no longer respond to my emails.

Thanks, I may still have hope though. On saturn spot somebody replied that they had the same problem so they used fuel line parts to redesign the pcv valve.
