Default What's your tire size?

I bought a 95 SL1 for my son and it needs new tires. It currently has bald 185/70/14's on it, which has alloy wheels and they look nice and thick, make it look sport, but I checked tire websites and they said that SL1 sedans comes stock with 175/70/14. Should I go with what is spec'd or go something in between, like 180/70/14 if they exist. I kind of like the wide profile look over the stock look.

Before I would start to look at changing tire sizes, I'd measure and compare the fancy alloy wheels currently on your car, and compare the readings with the various OEM rims designated for your car. Once I got the measurements in hand, that would tell me what options I have with respect to changing tire sizes .......

Thanks for the prompt response. Here's a pic of the car, do these look like OEM rims to you? Not sure you could tell...they may be aftermarket, huh?

Those are not factory wheels

This link will give you a good idea what tire options fit properly.

Somehow your link stopped working ... tried to reinstall it for you, but it didn't help
