1996 saturn sl2..Trans
#1
I have a 1996 saturn SL2, has 93,000 miles on it and I baby this thing. Had it since 12,000 miles on it, looks and runs like new car. Someone told me that the trans fluid can be chaned just like oil, drain plug on trans pan and trans filter/spin on type. Is this true, and does anyone know where I can get a picture of the area, so i can see, I have been all over the internet looking for one?Edited by: sw2cam

If you have an automatic, the tranny filter is right below the air box that houses the air filter. The drain is on the bottom of the transmission.
If you bought your car with 12,000 miles and you currently have 93,000 miles, you chould of changed the tranny fluid/filter at the very least three times by now. If it was my car, I've would of done it about nine times by now.
