OK I'm new to the forum, had our 96 Saturn SL2 since it was new and I still love it, 37 MPG, whats to hate? I am typically a GM guy but the wife is driving a Grand Caravan. The SL has 104k miles on it and the only things I have had to do are change tires, brakepads and an alternator and battery at about 70k mi. I am a do it yourselfer and have worked on other peoples Saturns for them, nothing more serious than a waterpump. The only aftermarket part I have on the SL is tint on the windows but I am considering putting a K&N air intake on to see if the milage goes up any, Anybody got an experience to share on that? Any other mods that youve done that helped your milage or helped performance but didnt hurt milage would be good to know.

i feel that K&N does improve mileage, especially with a full length intake. I have K&N on ALL of my vehicles.
