Default Heeellloo!

Hey guys and gals,

My name is Justin and I am the proud used owner of a 93 SW2 auto twin cam 160k 1st generation wagon. I do remodeling work with the car and compared to my work truck this girl is a sports car. I picked her up for $400 because she had some totaling front fender damage all the way into the subframe. I noticed that the previous owner spent a buck for new tires, battery, auto trans service, brakes, plugs and wires.

Of course the car "might" not be worth the investment but I've heard great things about Saturns before GM took them over.

I have since fixed up the body damage and $200 to a philadeph junkyard for hood front pass fender, washer box and a chunk of the subframe by my man Herb, to be seen in pictures once I get them together.

The car which I named Sputnik, "first into space", but not American made. It had been running great. I did some new to me maintainance, synthetic oil, filter, air filter. And she ran great for 2000 miles...

Hello and welcome to the site. GM started SATURN, gave SATURN life, always owned SATURN, killed SATURN.

Add your name, location, and car to signature for all to see

First name that is.

Welcome aboard, man. If you get a running a driving car for a $600 investment, then you've done a great job. Who cares how it looks as long as you get where you're going and home again?

Thanks everyone. This is great. I hope you can see the pics I posted. You might be able to see the texture from the budget paint job I did but at least it's all the same color. I've been recently having some engine trouble after some hard rains but I started up another thread on that. But it is nice to have a car that doesn't guzzle gas

Those W2's handle so damn good evan without a single suspension mod. Add front and rear strutbars, eibach springs and a rear sway bar and they turn into pure fun.
