NEW TO SATURN FORUM..AUDIO BUILD
#1
Hey whats up? My name is chris i have a 93 saturn sl1. From day one I realized its slow. So no speed, but at 30 a gallon (at 3 bucks a gallon) and 120 every 2 weeks for a car payment, who can complain. So I went audio build, On a stock alternator I have Kenwood excelon 1000w and a Rockford 250x2 powering 4 12's 2 10's 4 6.5's and 4 tweeter's. Takes a pioneer super tuner 3 and eq to make it clear and loud. I will post picks soon!

Holy overkill. My factory '04 Vue produces high volume with little to no distortion. I simply added a 10" Bazooka tube and a 50x2 amp bridged to 100watts mono to rock out with a very smooth and flat response. Sounds awesome on any track.
The Vue hides the sound outside with the plastic body panels;poke your head inside and hear bass extension.
I paid $80 for Memphis audio amp about 8 years ago. The Bazooka tube cost about $110 new in the box off ebay. Wiring kit $25. About 2 hours to get it right in the driveway.
The amp is hidden under the rear floor. Pretty stealth except for the Bazooka tube. All this in a silver car that blends in to reduce looks from thieves and cops... Minus the ticket I got today! Phooey on all who think the 2.2 is slow!
