What is with the ads at the top of the page? The guy at "ask an expert" wanted $15 to answere my question. Is it legit? Edited by: sw2cam

Never noticed that. I'd question who this expert is.

I think you answered your question when you said the word "ads"

So tell me did you sign up to this site just to ask that question? Have you ever been on other sites that have ads on them? It's to my understanding when I see an ad they have something to sell. Sell not give away.Edited by: sw2cam

It did kind of looks like part of the forum site. And they didn't ask for the money until after I registered and asked the question. The thing is I would pay the $15 if it was a good answer.

I found someone with the same transmission problem in the general tech area. But he posted once in 06 and it looks like he never came back and didn't leave an e-mail in his profile. I think he must have fixed it by now.
