Hello all new to this site and I hope to learn from you guys along with sharing what I have learned. Just purchased the 06 Vue Redline last weekend. I love this vehicle. She has alot more pep than I had imagined. The only thing I am not completely satisfied with is the stereo system. It could have bee a little more powerful than this. Does anyone agree with me?

Tru................I just picked up an 06 VUE for the wife. Not the Redline. She loves it. As far as the am/fm/xm/cd goes it works just fine for her, and more then fine for me. Ok I'll admit it, if it didin't have a radio I'd never notice. I never turn the radio on while I'm driving.

The sound system is good in my ears and I am in the business end of car audio. What seems to be holding for most is that is should be loud enough to be heard for a couple of blocks away and have enough bass to loosen bolts!!! I had an RL but didn't like so I went to a non- RL with some options. Suprisingly it rides nicer, is just as fast, has heated seats, get better mileageand looks more like a SUV, but that is just my opinion.

Looks have nothing to do with gas mileage.............They are the same rig less the body kit, trim, ride height, and tire size. On the other hand the tires are the same diameter. They have the same engine and transmission. You can get heated seats in the RedLine and non Redline. So how did the gas mileage change.

I was informed by Saturn of Regina that heated seats was not an option on the RLbecause in their place was ambient lighting{Amber or blue}. As far as the tires, Non RL's have 17's and RL's have 18's. Please get you facts before slamming me.

Ok the fact that the book I have says the redline has an option for heated seats must be wrong. I did say they had different tire sizes. I also said the tires were of the same diameter. Meaning the outside diameter not the inside diameter. My Son has a RedlineVue 2006 and my wife has a non redline VUE. The gas mileage is the same. If thats a slam I'm sorry.

Did I not say I was surprised, its probably just the break in period. The main topic here was the sound system anyway.

Ok well you brought up the gas mileage thing in the audio thread so I made a reply. As far as looks go. I like the looks of the RL over the non-RL VUE. But I'd not have either for my driver. I just don't care for or need a suv
