GM Recall
I just spotted this recall on the web. Maybe now I can get that damned fuel leak on my 07 Equinox fixed for free! I'm gonna find out. Here's how I found out. It applies to some Saturns too. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/10/01/g...models-over-f/

Dang, I sure liked the Cobalts. I rented them a couple of times, basically by accident. MY request was something cheap and the response was the blue car by the door. I generally had no idea what they were until I was way down the road discovering I liked driving the thing. I guess some of the came with a turbo. I do know the basic car has an electronic limited top speed some where around warp speed. And got terrific gasoline mileage delivering warp speed.
Oh well!

Well, I called the 800 # in my owners manual for GM and after being on hold for 20 minutes, got hung up on. Tried again and same thing happened. I called the NHTSA and they said call a dealership. Called the dealership across the river and they said my vin # wasn't on any recall list, but they'd be happy to look at it and give me an estimate. I told them thanks but no thanks. I'll do it myself if I have to. My wife got in touch with someone at the NHTSA and they said the same thing about my vin#, but also said that they were still adding numbers to the recall, so mine may get there yet. I'm just going to let it drip and hope someone burns it for me in the mean time. LOL The saga continues.........
