For curiosity's sake, if one were to run a compression check on the engine, I wonder what the individual readings would be.
And if they were low
or
different between cylinders,
if you added a teaspoon or so of oil through the spark plug hole and ran the checks again, what the new readings might be?

I know, Im waiting until I get the new car to tear into the engine, since I dont have the money to build it now and I dont wanna be driving my dads F350 around or my sisters CTS-v until I get it done. It would be mine and my bros first engine rebuild and probably take awhile. When I get the new car the saturn becomes mine and my bros project car, and we wanna supercharge or turbo.

That might be a good idea, ill have to get a compression tester and try that out in the upcoming weeks.
I dont know if im going to try something in the summer or not, since I need to save up for a downpayment. fun fun fun. If the motor goes between then Im gonna find the lowest mileage motor I can and rock with that for awhile.

My 99 uses a bit of oil too. I started putting in 20-50 a few years ago. It helped some.
