1995 SC2 Engine Removal
I was wondering if anyone could point me to some good resources for engine R&R on a 1995 SC2 DOHC.
I have pulled several motors on RWD cars in my life, but this will be my first attempt at a FWD.
Just wondering if there are any good videos out there, and what manuals would be the best to get before starting the swap. (Chiltons, Haynes, or other service manual).
This will be just a straight swap due to original motor seizing.
Is it best (easier) to pull the motor out from the top, or should I drop the cradle?
Are there any specialty tools I will need, other than standard shop tools, and a cherry-picker?
Any other advice you would give to a Saturn noob?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Wish I could help you man, but I've never done a Saturn. I do know that on the FWD Mopars, it's easier to drop them from under the car. No cherry picker needed, just a good hydraulic floor jack and jack stands.

Okay ill just write alittle andif you need more help feel free to message me
The haynes manual will be of good help. It is easier to pull the engine from the top unless you have the car lift and all the stuff to lower the cradle properly
If you do pull the engine from the top though, use a load leveler! I didnt and broke my power steeping tank and messed up where the hood seal goes
