1999 Saturn SC2 Problem
#1
Hey everyone. I''ve had a problem with my saturn for a while now. About 2 months ago the Service Engine Soon light came on and so I got the code from a local garage. So far the codes P0140 came up and another P0145. So far I''ve brought it there 5 times and the mechanic can''t really put his finger on the problem. He said the secondary air injection system seems to be fine and he did find a cracked hose and repaired it but the light still is coming on. Another big problem is that I''m losing major gas mileage even after a tune up. I was getting around 34 MPG and now I''m only getting about 20. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

P0140....O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
Basically theres a problem with the second O2 sensor in the car. Its the one after the catalytic converter. Check the wiring and to see that its plugged in.
P0145 is a non existant code for your car. Its donest apply to Saturns and wouldnt of come up in a scan. Makes me wonder is the P0140 really came up as well. Most autoparts stores will scan codes for free. Take it somewhere else and have the codes reread.
