1999 sc2 will not start
#1
My daughter pulled into the driveway and the car was running fine. When she tried to leave the car would not start. All the electronics are working ( radio, lights, heater, etc). I'm not a mechanic but when I try to find one tomorrow I want to know what to tell him. Anything other than what I've already said? Any ideas what the problem might be? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks, mik

This happened to my dakota, try looking at the fuel pump i got told mine was failed but a good friend of mine closely looked and all the was wrong was the power wire to the fuel pump was brocken off, if this is to much try going somewhere and get the codes ran off to you and see if the fuel pump it turning on or some vhicles can use the key to check the fuel pump, turn the key to the on position but dont turn over the car, and hear for humming sounds through the gas tank.

Check tor corrosion at the positice battery cable. Very common (especially if it has the original AC Delco battery) for corrosion to happen there and cause the car not to start, but there will be enough current to run the electronics.Edited by: Low Saturn
