Default 94 saturn sc1 or 2 piston issue

ok so im buying this car for 250...the only thing wrong is that there is a hole in rad and two pistons are not fireing... so name me some things off on what that could be please... its nice to be back

I'm looking at the last picture and have to comment -- this belonged to some farmer who parked it in his field one Spring, and just found it again after cutting down all the wheat? Anyway, hook up your OBD diagnostic tool, and get us a reading on the failure codes ... post the actual numbers here, and we'll try to help.

Do what OA suggested first. I'd pull all four plugs and run a compression test on it too. Check for fire at all four plugs. It may be something as simple as bad plugs, wires or coil pack.

no not a farmer... lol he just drove it up the hill to his house when the two quit but coasted it into his back yard

Before going any further, I'd clean out all the grass/hay from the engine bay and underneath -- would sure hate to have my $250 go up in smoke. By the way, where's the intake lines and breather box ??

Its in the back seat lol and there aint no grass anywhere but on the windshield
