Where is the cruise control module located? I just bought 2 '93 SC2's and one has cruise and A/C, but the one I want to keep doesn't have either, so I'm going to try and update it. I've got the dash top and I/P out, what's my next step. The engine bay stuff looks straight forward. Any hints would be appreciated.

Under the dash on the steering column support. Just follow the cable coming off the top of the accelerator pedal.

You'll need to swap over the module, switch pod, steering wheel back trim piece, PCM and possibly the clock spring on the steering column. If you see the connector for the switch pod under the airbag, then you dont need to swap clock springs.

I found the module, thanks. I don't think the donor car has an airbag. Where is the clock spring on the column? Would it be easier to transplant the whole column? Also, does it make a difference if one car, the donor, is an automatic, and the other is a stick? I was told the PCM could be reflashed. Is this right, and is it a better way to go? I figure I'll have to add power, ground and the interupt circuits for the brake and clutch. Can I use the brake safety switch for the trans, instead of buying one specifically for the cruise? Or can I tie into the existing clutch and brake light switches? Did I miss anything? How about the A/C? Has anyone done this? I pulled the A/C system out of the "organ donor". This seems pretty straight forward, but are there traps waiting for me?

-If its a 1993, then it has an airbag. Only 1991's and most 1992's didnt have airbags.

-Doesnt make a difference weather the donor is an auto or manual.

-Its possible to flash the PCM, but most dealerships dont know how to do it, are unwilling to do it or are just charge to much. Much easier and cheaper to get a junkyard PCM. Just make sure you get one from the same year, options, engine and transmission as your project car.

-You dont have to add any type of wiring. Just plug everything in and it will work.

Ok, I found the title and it says the donor is a '92, not a '93 like the ad said. So the question still is, "Is it easier/better to swap the whole column, or what"? And the A/C? Thanks again.
