I just bought by first car yesterday, a 2002 SC2. I went to tim hortons today and when I tried to open my window, it didnt work, so I had to open the door to order. It was working fine this morning. The passengers window works and so does the sunroof (not sure if the sunroof is relevant), and the switch makes a noise when I press it. Theres also another noise Im pretty sure is coming from the door. My mechanic is on holidays until the 25th so I was wondering if anybody knows a way to fix it without taking the car apart. Thanks

well, I'd venture to guess it's either the switch, the window binding in the tracks, or the motor itself. Me thinks door panel removal is required to see what's going on.

So no, there is no way to fix it without taking it apart.

Get the panel off, and see what's going on inside --- or open your door until the 25th, and let your mechanic do it ....

You won't find parts for your window problem at WallyWorld. You remove the panel, then try to operate the window. If its making noise like you posted, then the problem should be obvious ...

 

Wamart, no but you should be able to get everything you need at Burger King. You can get a McDouble at that other place
