Default Foglights on SC2

I have a '98 SC2 and one of the foglights took a hit from some road debris. How do I get the foglight off the car? I popped out the plastic pushpins holding the light to the bracket and it is still held fast by the adjuster(?) which doesn't rotate/adjust anymore. The whole assembly looks to be suspended from the top by a stud but I can't see any way to get at the "invisible" nut that must be under the bumper somewhere.

Ah, another foglight incident.
Lots of fun. Been there/suffered through that.

The foglight indeed remains attached via the adjuster.

Get some PB Blaster and soak it repeatedly (do not get on paint) until you free it up.
Then start loosening it -- many many rotations. Did I mention many rotations?

It will eventually come free.

Replacement is the reverse torture of removal.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try lubing it up- but it sure would have been nice to have the adjuster rotated 90 degrees so you could get pliers on it to render a little forceful torque
