How to plug an unused fitting in new radiator?
Update: Please disregard this post. I have found that the fittings for the transaxle coolant feed a closed loop. So no coolant will leak if I don't close them or connect anything to them. Live and learn.
Original post: I am replacing the radiator in my '98 SC2, standard transmission. The replacement radiator has two 1/2" fittings for transaxle coolant lines, but my model doesn't have those coolant lines.
I need to find a reliable way to plug the holes. Any ideas?
The holes fit a standard 1/2" by 20 thread bolt at the hardware store. I'm reluctant to use those because the bolts are stainless and the fittings are brass.

No kidding Scarecrow who told you that the tranny cooler potion of the radiator was seperate from the engine cooling portion. After just two posts we all know someone had to tell you because you are without a brain.......
