Can anyone help with this problem? On days that are below about 60 deg F or above 80 deg F, the OD and gauges on my SC2 do something a little bizarre. This first thing they do is all the gauges immediately peg to the maximums (which they didn't do until the problem started). And the OD displays a value around 122000, which isn't correct, it should be around 77000. After a few seconds, the gauges got back to their correct positions, but the OD doesn't correct itself. If the day is mild (between 60 and 80 deg) then none of this happens, the OD displays 77000, and the gauges don't wig out.

I took it to two different Saturn dealers, the first said it was a BCM problem, they replaced the BCM, which didn't fix the problem. When the BCM didn't fix the problem, they said they had no idea. Second dealership said the same thing, they had no idea.

I would really like to fix this problem. If anyone has seen this before, or has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks,
Michael

I know I've read about this in another forum -- don't know that it ever got resolved....have you googled for this?

Sorry -- not the answer you wanted to hear

Thanks for the Email. Yes, I checked with Google. I found what seemed like hundreds of other postings about people with this problem, but no solution. Kudos to Saturn for making a vehicle so complex that their dealerships can't fix them.
