KEY-fob question for my 02 SC1 3dr
When I bought this car, it did not come with any keyfob, so because my 98 SL2 had one, I went on ebay and bought me one for my 2002 SC1.
Well unlike my 98 SL2, I cannot find any info online to program it into my 02 SC1.
Anybody have a link or info on how to do this?
Much appreciated
Chuck

If you have an owners manual, maybe the info is in it. Is yours supposed to have a fob or does it use a transponder key? I'm pretty sure that would make a big difference.

I phoned chev dealership here in Brantford, they told me that they need to deprogram and then reprogram it.
Dunno if that's true, so I'm gonna continue to search here and try to figure it out.
When I bought the keyfobs, it said it was for a 2000-2004 SC1, so I would imagine that there is a difference in the keyfobs from a 98 Saturn.
No I do not have a owners manual unfortunately.... Sorry

2000 and newer takes a TECH II. It's the only way. I bet that's been reported a time or two over the last 13 years on this forum. 2002 was the last year the Saturn S-Series was built.
Reading is fundamental.
