Hi I need to install a coil .What is the air gap suppose to be on a 2002 sc1 compressor clutch.I just bought my sc1 monday.Its a fun little car.I have two more questions.Were is the backup light switch located and is there anyway to brighten up the odometer ,its bearly visable or should I be glad it even works.Every time I sell a car or boat I always give the buyer a manuel.So far nobody has given me one.Whats up with that. Thanks

 

As far as a driver's Manual, or even a Service Manual for an older Saturn, I have found that eBay is always a good spot to look ...

As for the visibility of the odometer, are you referring to daytime running brightness, or nighttime conditions ???

 

Hi I installed the coil and the a/c works great.
I need to get a manuel.
The odometer is dim period.With the lights on it makes no difference.You cant even see it at night.Is there a backlight bulb I can replace?

 

Is the dash dimmer **** turned all the way clockwise (never saw a 2002 but am assuming it was still there as in earlier years)

yes the dash bulbs can be replaced but 7 years is pretty short lifespan....I have a 95 that is only starting to lose dash bulbs

 

Yes the dim **** is turned all the way up.I can see the speed and tack great.Its just the digital odometer .Day or with lights on its bearly visible.
It does still register the miles for now.Has anyone replaced the backlight in a digital odometer in a sci 2002 model. Thanks

 

oops -- missed the year /digital aspect. sounds like a pain in general, as it is most likely a sealed unit -- disregard my comment about bulb replacement
