Now that I have fixed the Alt. I notice another problem with the G/F''s car.

It seems as if the rev limiter is kicking in just shy of 4000 RPM''s. Red line is much higher, so I find it wierd for this to be happening. It runs perfect up until that RPM, then it just has no more and just sputters. I will do some testing and replace a few pieces, just wanted some quick opinions and other views.

Thanks

Does it do that in neutral or in gear?

Then its normal. The neutral rev limiter is around 4000. The in gear rev limiter is around 6500 for a DOHC.

Awesome. Thanks a lot Mike. Greatly appreciated. I was thinking it was normal as nothing was registering wrong and nothing was affected. I did some voltage testing and everything appeared to work properly.

Voltage is important, but amperage is just as important. You could have the correct amount of volts, but low amperage.
