Default suspension advice? 99 sc2

i have a saturn sc2 1999 DOHC with 193,000 miles. the seller had a new engine droped in and now it needs suspension work. i have put in new front struts (monroe gas), strut mounts (monroe), springs and tires. in the rear i did the struts, tires and trailing arm bushings (ens). i need some advice on where to go from here. the front feels alot better but not quite right yet. and the rear still feel kinda sloppy.
i have noticed on newer cars having rubber on top and bottom between the coils and the struts. wondering if this would tighten up the front ? the engine runs great and i want to make this car last as long as i can. but don;t know much about suspension. any advice would be greatly appreciated
