Default Turn signal wont turn off and oil help?

My girl friend has a 2001 sc2. The turn signal clicking wont turn off. If you use your turn signal the clicking sound they make wont turn off right away. We took a four hour trip with it stuck on the whole time. Turning the car off and back on wont help. One more thing what oil do you put in the car? 10w30 ? And how much does it take?

Thanks for the help.

I believe they are a pain in the a** to replace in the s cars due to the amount of stuff you must remove (including the airbag) to get to the switch assembly. Recommend taking to a Saturn Dealership if you want it put back together properly.

for the oil it takes 4qts and depending on where you live 5-30 or 10-30 is whats recommended. if it gets below 18 deg f (I think) you want 5 otherwise 10 will be fine

recommend 5w30 due to oil control ring varnishing issues...
