Hi folks,

the check engine light on 2008 Saturn Astra with 150,000km has come on three times this month. The first repair was code P0017 for the exhaust cam solenoid which was replaced along with the flex pipe. The second repair was code P138 O2 sensor 2. And now the check engine light is back on again! Anyone have any suggested solutions/explanations as to what could be the problem?

What's the new code?

 

The car goes in on Friday so I will learn the code later this week. The exhaust is noisy so it may be related to the O2 sensor again is my guess.

 

Take it to AutoZone or similar and get the codes read for free and post them here.

We might just be able to save you a trip to the mechanic
