Exclamation 2007 Aura Headlight issues

The other day, the headlights started doing some pretty weird stuff and through all my troubleshooting, I cannot find the problem.

With headlight lights off, turn signals work as advertised.
With headlights lights on Dim (on or auto), the Right turn signal and both headlight bulbs go Dim on the Right side. All the lights on the Left Side work correctly
- In Low beams, the right turn signal flashes fast like the bulb is burned out in the front. (front, rear and sidelights all work) Both filaments on in the front bulb pulse at the fast rate. The Side and rear bulbs pulse fast but are doing so at normal brightness.
- In High beams, all the lights in the front headlight assembly turn off. The Side and rear lights operate at normal intensity but at the fast rate when the right turn signal is turned on. Everything on the left side works normally.

Bottom line with headlights off, turn signals and hazards work fine.
with headlights on Low Beam, entire Left side works fine, Right side Headlights and turn signal goes dim and Blinks at the faster rate. Side and rear lights are normal intensity but blink at faster rate.
With headlights on High Beam, entire Lefts side works fine. The entire right front headlight assembly stops working. Right Side and Back turn signals work fine but blinks at the faster rate.

I bought all new bulbs for the front.
I hardwired the headlight assembly pigtail on the right side since it seemed to change a little as I moved the plugs. (I took the plug out)
I replaced the headlight control arm module on the steering wheel with no change in performance.
I reconnected all the ground wires attached to the wiring harness on front right side and the main ground.
I swapped out each relay in the fusebox for the high and low beams and nothing changed.
I hand worked all the wires all the way back to the fuse box in the front of the car hoping to find a break/loose connection (nothing changed),
I checked every fuse in the car.

I'm at my wits end.

Anybody else ever experience this?

No.

Reminds me of things that happen when you've lost a ground or have an accidental intermittent grounding occurring and current is taking paths other than the ones it's supposed to.

The right turn signal seems to be the root of all evil. When that circuit is closed, it is apparently pulling current away from the rt headlight. So either the headlight on the R is becoming ungrounded or the current is being shunted somewhere from the R headlight hot wire to....?

If it is a turn signal/headlight interaction, I'm guessing the wiring is fubar'd somewhere in the harness they share.

If it is a lost ground issue, it's likely at one of the splice packs in the front right under the hood.

Could be an issue under the fuse box but that's a long shot.

Could also be related to BCM issues. Again, total guess.

One thing I have not heard mentioned is a wiring diagram. You will save yourself hours of self abuse if you can see how it's designed and supposed to operate. You should be able to find one on the web.

You have what is called a “floating ground”. If your car has a separate power and ground to each bulb like my car has, there will be a ground splice somewhere. My car has all underhood grounds on the driver’s side. I have three body ground locations on that side, one below the battery(brilliant). One in front of the shock tower and one behind. The one under the battery is the one I had problems with. The ground splices have seven or eight small wires plugged onto a single steel plate that is covered in a removable plastic cover and mounted with several other splices on a single stud welded to the inner fender.
I isolated the problem splice, removed the plastic cover and cleaned all the connections inside the splice. All the ghosts in the wiring disappeared and have not returned.
You either have this kind of problem or a partially broken ground inside the insulation. These are though to find since you have to separate the wires in the harness and pull on each one until you find the break.

I spliced a ground wire from where the pigtail was to the frame and it works perfect....... Thanks for the direction.
