Critical recall about 11 years ago. I am not joking one bit. Get it to a Chevy dealer before you get rear ended

Just spoke with Chevy dealer and they are saying there is no recall about the 3rd brake light

I call BS.
Maybe.
The recall summary language does not distinguish between the third brake light and the others, at least not in an obvious way, unless service brake light is meant to only mean the bottom two. Anyway, this is what I remember from back in the day. See attached. Go to NHTSa.gov and check by VIN.

The dealer needs to run your VIN for any open recalls.

Agreed. I did not mean to imply it was a universal recall on all 2007 auras. Hence my inclusion of the PDF from the NHTSA website where you can also check the VIN to see if any recall is outstanding as in has not been performed, on your vehicle. Sorry for any confusion.
