Default XR 3.6 V6 Motor Mounts

I'm trying to change them myself. I can't find anything on YouTube showing location or replacement procedures. I found the parts on eBay but no DIY. Please help with pictures or videos on how to do the Motor Mounts. Thanks 😊

What is the driving force or need to replace them? How many of them? Often when you cannot locate a DIY video for something automotive it is because nobody has found a way to do it themselves that is cost-effective or worth the effort.

I would think that just like all the other transverse-mounted engines, the upper torque axis mount would be the first to go. How many miles are on your Vue??

Also found a relative layout diagram on one of the GM parts sites. When not one post comes up from saturnfans.com referencing something Saturn related, it is a pretty good bet that you are not going to find much on the rest of the internet.

You may wish to search on opel antara, the European car that the 2nd generation Vue is based on.

The car is 2007 Aura XR 3.6 V6. not Vue. The car has 114k miles odometer. I put in gear and accelerate it is a loud thud. The engine is going back then forward. When driving the steering wheel shakes a little and when I travel over any little bumps it sounds horrible The reason I know is this, My SAAB was making same noise and behaving the exact same way. I changed motor mounts and the noise/problems were fixed, Thanks I can't find anything to help me fix them. How many do I have? Thanks for helping me 😁

Sorry bout the model mix up. I owned a 2008 Vue XR and XR has subconsciously become Vue in my head. My bad.

There doesn't seem to be much out there. I believe 2007 and 2008 were very similar. But do not quote me on that.

I might suggest you getting a one month subscription to alldata online. Or 14 days, I can't remember how long it is. Professional grade information, fixed price for fixed length of time to access as much information as you can't find and download.

Be sure before taking this step that you confirm 2007 Aura XR is contained within alldata. Not all vehicles are.

Actually a more logical overall solution would be a Saturn field service manual. The one used by Saturn techs back in the day.

The the closest I found for a field service manual for a 2007 aura is the following
