Default 2005 Ion parts interchangeability

I recently purchased a 2005 Saturn Ion base model with a 5 spd that has deer hit damage to the front.

I am in need of the following parts:
Hood, hinges
F. bumper cover (no fog lights)
L. fender
R. fender
upper radiator support
radiator
condensor
R. headlight
L. headlight
Grill
misc pieces in the damaged area.

Does anyone know what parts can I use from other year Ions?
I am nearing a deal with a guy that has a front end from a 2007 and wondered if those parts were the same.

Any help is appreciated, thanks

If you have a junk yard close by, they should have a Hollander's interchange manual and be able to tell you what will swap out.

2005-2007 Body parts are identical, but a simple look at the cars in the salvage yard should make obvious. In fact if you were to look at any year ION it'll become obvious what body parts are the same as yours. Most everything under the skin is the same.

Thanks for the replies guys. Went to the junkyard yesterday and you are correct. 05-07 are the same.

I hope to secure a complete front from an 07 for my daughters 05 by the end of the week. Tried to get the complete car but the guy wants to sell the drivetrain to a friend.

Thanks again for the input

Keep us posted and while your at it stop in the new member area and introduce yourself. Would be a good idea to add a first name, location, and yr/model to your signature right after you complete your profile.

Sorry for not being very quick to get that info in....been pretty busy, unloaded the trailer in the rain Thursday eve, got the parts stripped off the donor car yesterday in the 44* rainstorm and attending CCW class today. Tomorrow back on the car tear down then on vacation out of the country the rest of this week and start of next......I appreciate your confidence in me though RjION!

I planned to do it as soon as I was able but didn't know I was on the clock. Sorry and thanks for your input.
