Welll, enjoy your "new/old" car, and welcome back to the road ...

Another engine is definitely cheaper than another car. Since you seem to love your Saturn, that's a good investment. I just hope you take better care of it after you get it back than you have in the past. No car will stand up to constant beating, I don't care what it is.

I haven't been driving all crazy for while now. Every now and than I'd open her up a lil but I baby the heck out of her now and when I get her back she is getting a whole"spa" day lol. Since I did some basice work on her I like to just cruse and let the whole world check her out! No need to be flying past the world!

Man, that mileage doesn't sound anywhere near what you should be getting. You should get mid 20's in city and around 30 on the open highway.

Tell me about it I have do the calculations so many times thinking its gotta be wrong but nope. I think the overall average combined would have to be about 18mpg. I have to fill up every 4 days!! Its freaking crazy and hurts the heck out of my wallet!! Everyone I know goes almost 2 weeks on a tank!! Ive never done it haha ( I do drive far everyday)

Try fueleconomy.gov and see what they rate your car at. Something is just not right with yours. Have you ever replaced the O2 sensors?

Mixed mileage over the life of my 2.4L ION is in the mid 28's. Book is in the car, car is in garage, the garage is hot, not going out to get book.
