RWD Ion build
Decided to build a RWD saturn ion. I'll be using a 93 s10 frame that im shortening down 5 inches to match the ions wheelbase and cutting out most of the floor in the ion so i can lay the body over the frame and be close to stock height.
The motor for now is gonna be the stock 2.8 from the s10, but im gonna be building a 3400 v6 with either a single or twin turbo.
The transmission is gonna be a T5 5 speed from the s10, but im looking for tremec t56 6 speed.
The rearend for now is the stock s10 10bolt, but I have a 8.8" ford rearend and 9" ford rear end ill be building up eventually.
A custom 4 link rear suspension is gonna be made.
I'll post pics as i get work done, but unfortunatly because of work, I only get to work on it 1 or 2 days a week at most.

Oh hell yes, this is going to be fun to watch .......... keep the pictures coming.
Stop in the new member area and give yourself an intro.
Take a few minutes and open the user cp to add your first name location and car info to your signature.
PS; Maybe resize your pictures to 640X480 as they are to bloody large to see via my phone. I use Helicon Filter 4.93, it's an older version may be a bit tougher to find but I like it much better than the 5.0 and up versions. It's free.....search Helicon Filter Free 4.93.
