Default 01 L200 not moving when cold

Hello,
My L200 refuses to move in her old age (192 k miles) when it is colder outside especially when it gets below freezing. The car does not want to move unless I REALLY rev it up and then it finally gets moving in first gear and shifts into second and then needs reving to get it to continue shifting. Once the car is warmed up its fine. I have noticed this problem gets worse the colder it is outside. My thought is my fluid and filter need changed but not sure. I dont think I have ever changed it but did add a trans fluid additive last year but it didnt help. I have also read that it may be the Intake Air Sensor or MAF sensor?
Any ideas?

Well, I'd not only change the fluid and filter ..... I'd flush the transmission.

Most people NEVER think about changing the trans fluid and filter until they experience problems like you have. Every 50,000 miles or so is a must for me and my vehicles, as long as they're serviceable. I have over 200,000 miles on my Caravan and it's the original transmission. How many Mopar owners can make that claim?

I've never lost a transmission or engine ever. Might have something to do with car care. When I was young and bought a car the first thing I did was to change fluids, and checked EVERTHING else out in the back yard.

I was buying old old cars. Fixed em, cleaned em, sold em. Made money on them and bought a nicer car.

I've changed the filter and fluid that was in the pan. We'll see how it works in really cold weather.

I would like just once in my life to buy a brand new car. I have never paid more than $10k for a vehicle and always done my own repairs. The upside is I've learned a ton. Owning a vehicle with <100 miles is on my bucket list.

Yes Sir go introduce yourself, fill out a signature, and get your post count up to TEN. I'm sure you can find a few posts you could add your thoughts to. That'll keep your membership and use of the forum alive. It's not to much for us to ask for I don't believe. We want a few good members.
