2002 LW300 dies after ten minutes.

We have a 2002 LW300, 6cyl., fully loaded, 104K miles.
Recently, the car started dying at randome times. Usually while not moving, like in a drive-thru. Then it started dying while moving, like on the highway!!
Money is tight, so we had a guy look at it. He thought it was the fuel pump. We replaced it, no luck. Then he put in a new fuel filter and swapped relays. Again, no luck.
As of now, the car starts, runs for 10 minutes, then just shuts off flat. No noise, dies, power completely cut. No "chug, chug", just flat quiet. We wait 5-10 minutes and it starts, then dies after about 5 minutes. Something seems to be overheating, like a relay or something, but we can't figure out what.
Tried replacing the fuel pump/filter and associated relays and nothing has changed.

Hoping that other Saturn owners have had a similar problem with their cars with this kind of mileage. Edited by: sw2cam

Had the same problem once. It was the ''crank position sensor''. It''s one wire and one bolt. About $100 from Saturn. It''s a sensor, but the computer will show no code when it goes bad.
When it happened to me, it would run fine then shut off for no reason. It would crank and crank and then start after 10 min. or so. Never had problem again after replacing the crank position sensor.
one more thing... mechanics can never find it because it throws no code to the computer. It runs fine for them when they have it, but they rarely fix it.
