brake help
#1
</>I have a strange brake issue. Replaced frontpads 4 months ago. Everything has been fine. This past weekend the right front caliper lower outside edge started rubbing the inside of the wheel. I have completed the following. Loosened caliper and retorqued, Re-lubed guide pins, smoothed area on caliper. Changed wheel with one from left front, replaced wheel bearings year ago. Checked wheel for play, its nice and tight. I noticed clearance on left side between caliper and wheel about 1/8". Much less on right side but not sure why. Problem back two days later. Any suggestions?</>

Did you check the brake pad itself to be sure it is firmly attached to its steel backing, they occasionally come un bonded.< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-47";

</>Yes I have. You can see where the wheel and caliper actually are rubbing against each other. I can't find anywhere to adjust for clearance. < =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-47"; urchinTracker(); </>
