Horn doesnt work and Air Bag light on!

Help! I had the rack changed on my L100 and now my airbag light is on and the horn doesnt work.





Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Its possible when the rack was off the car, someone spun the steering wheel. This could of damaged the clock spring. The wiring for the airbag and horn is part of the clock spring.

I'd take the car back to where you had it repaired.

Horn and airbag are two different problems. If screw up look for wire disconnected from horn. If it is OK, check fuse and relay. To fix airbag get a book with wiring diagram.

Yeah, just forget the fact the both are wired through the clock spring on the steering column. And if that was spun around while the rack was disconnected it would rip the wires apart inside the clock spring.
