I own a 2000 sedan. I've heard there is a possible problem with the timing chain. I read that it could break without prior warning at around 50,000 miles. I have a 3.0 liter engine. Has anyone out there had this problem or know about this?

the 2000 LS has been recalled for the fuel tank assembly valve and for
the warning switch. i have had a timing belt replacement and i bought
one on partstrain. it took me 100K mileage before the replacement.
