Exclamation 2001 L300 3.0L V6 Automatic Transaxle

Hey everyone! I have a 2001 L300 3.0L V6 Automatic that is currently having some issues that has disabled the vehicle. I ran it around the corner and it failed on me. I had tow it back to my apartment and have since then done several maintenance replacements and checks only to not resolve it just yet. It currently won't stay running with a solid service engine light. All DTC codes have been cleared; the only thing I haven't done yet is change the spark plugs and I now have the tools to do (almost 100%). However I am not certain if that's the case.

Thank you all for your time and this forum.

Mileage = 144k
Maintenance History = No accidents | Several Service Shop History from Carfax (Not sure details).
When I received it; it originally had transmission shifting issues due to voltage errors (P0113 - IAT Sensor Circuit High Input) and the service engine light was stuck on due to a major sensor (Forgot the name off the top of my head). I ended up replacing it and it lasted a bit longer with an oil change.

Right after the car recently failed and was towed back. I outputted the following codes:

P0443 - Purge valve circuit fault
U1262 - SCP Data Link Fault / Module: Instrument Cluster
P0460 - Invalid fuel tank level message from instrument cluster.
P0113 - IAT Sensor Circuit High Input
P0602 - PCM programming error
P0174 - System Too Lean Bank 2 (This sensor rings a bell to the original sensor I replaced) -- Wish I remembered the name.

Just to recap; the codes are cleared now; service engine light stays on when cranked with a jumpstart and won't stay running. I can't seem to get idling and the only thing I haven't replaced for maintenance are spark plugs at this time. However; I was thinking that isn't the problem due to the fact it does turn over.

Could it be the alternator? Or possibly the original sensor that I replaced... might be one of those again.

Thank you for your time!

I remember now after reviewing a YouTube video with that. The Oxygen Sensor. I replaced that originally. One of them. The one on the bottom of the right part of the engine.

After reviewing this website: https://o2sensors.com.au/static/o2-s...-and-locations

I have come to the conclusion that the Oxygen Sensor I replaced was on the right side of the vehicle underneath the vehicle. Which I believe is correctly labeled Bank 1, Sensor 2.

If I am understanding this correctly. The error thrown after the car died or prior; is now on the left side of the vehicle. (How would I determine which Sensor it is) ?

This would prevent the engine from running and idling w/ handling fuel correctly?

Bank 1 is towards the firewall. Bank 2 is towards the radiator.
Sensor 1 is before the converter. Sensor 2 is after the converter,
I dont believe your problem is caused by an 02 sensor.

lbraner,

You don't think that a failed o2 sensor would prevent the vehicle from starting again? Or would crap the car out within a block or two from my home?

lbraner,

Thank you.

My neighboor helped me jump my car today and I held the gas pedal down on the floor and rev'ed the engine to try and keep the engine running. This resulted in 3 things.

1) The engine ran longer than before

2) The engine started smoking

3) The engine block seems to have tons of oil that must have spewed out when I over-filled after it originally broke down before the tow truck brought me back home.

Here are the videos:

01-30-2020 - Video 2 - Engine Smoking - Leaked Oil from over-filling and cranking with my jumpbox?
