L300 shut down

As far as service manuals go, if you're talking true Saturn Issued FSMs (Field Service Manuals) that the GM techs would use at the dealership,
2005 Saturn L Series LS LW L300 Service Shop Repair Manual Set Factory 05 | eBay
seems to be the only option I can find.

Sorry for my late reply...but I agree with Rubehayseed, what is a CPS? Thanks Derf for the explanation, I should have guessed, LOL, since he mentioned the crankshaft position sensor reading 150k ohms in the first post...HELLO! My understanding is...crank position sensor is CKP, and cam position sensor is CMP, for all manufacturers. Happy you found the problem Fernandoz! Got any pics of that 2005 L300? Would love to see it!

We get a bit loose here. Kinda inherited it when we joined the forum and we keep propagating the nonsense forward. I'l make an effort to get on board. S and L cars do not have CMP's so that term doesn't get used much as there are not a ton of Aura or newer model owners on the board right now.

As long as someone can express to me crankshaft position sensor without using the abbreviation GFU I'm generally ok with it

i had a an engine light on and had it checked.it was a misfire on cyl. 1.so i changed the plug and just in case the wire was shorting out,i rerouted the wire.the plug was badly fouled.it's running good now,but the plug had the brand name [mighty] on it.i can't find it online.i know it's the wrong plugs and i'm going to put some bosch back in there and change them all.according to the upkeep records the previous owner gave me.it's been 8 years since they were put in.way overdue for crappy plugs.does anyone know of these plugs?who makes them?

Hey there towerman, to answer your question, Mighty is a part's supplier like O'Reilly, Auto Zone and NAPA, but they only sell to automotive repair shops, like Good Year and Firestone, who can buy in bulk, and pass the savings on to their customers. I provided a video, and a link to their sight.
