Default [1995 sl1] stereo power issue

hey guys. im new to this forum.

anywho. i have a problem. I just installed a new stereo and i have all the wires hooked up except the 12v constant. The stereo powers on when i turn on acc or run the car, but i cant get any power to come out of the constant so when i shut the car off, the radio presets reset and my clock resets.

can anyone help me figure out why there is no power comming from the 12v constant wire?

thank you

Your constant +12v is on the ORG wire in the original harness. As I recollect, the power comes from the CHIME fuse located in the Instrument Panel Junction Block (IPJB)

Default Thanks

This was a huge help to me I had a similar problem; didn't realize the chime fuse had anything to do with the stereo power.
