Error code P0410 is appearing. Is this an expensive fix? Do I need a mechanic?

I posted this and let me give a little more info. I had good success with a 97 SL that I sold after 233,000 miles. I am now looking at buying a 2002 SL2 that has the error code above, but I need to know if it''s an expensive repair. Also, It needs a new rear bumper cover painted electric blue. How much would this cost?

P0410 Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction

Usually caused by carbon build up in the AIR system. Remove the tube that connects to the exhaust manifold and clean it out. Cleaning the channel that goes in between the port openings on the flange of the exhaust manifold helps too.

Very easy DIY fix.
