Actually, if I have it as a spare, what if it ends up defective? So I will just install them when I get them. But now my question is, our temp gauge sensor or gauge is bad. Where do I get the 1 wire sensor? They are all the 2 wire engine control ones and I do not see any 1 wire that controls the gauge.

Have you called a cooling and heating contractor for ac replacement or called a mechanic?.

My home HVAC guy works on my satty AC about as often as never.
